One Accord ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the One Accord mobile application (the "App").

By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Because One Accord is a dating and community app, your profile is central to the service. We collect the information you choose to provide, which may include:

- Contact information you share when you contact support (e.g., your email address). You do not need an email address or password to use One Accord — your account is created anonymously on your device.

- Profile information: first name, age, gender, photos, bio, location (country, and optionally state/city with approximate coordinates), relationship history if you choose to share it, and your church fellowship if you choose to share it

- Faith and community information you add to your profile, such as your faith background, baptism and Holy Ghost status, church involvement, relationship intentions, and related preferences

- Messages and other content you send to or share with other users

- Information you submit in forms, surveys, or reports within the App

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you use the App, we may automatically collect:

- A random account identifier

- In-app activity: which profiles are shown to you, your likes and passes, and how long a profile is viewed. We use this only inside One Accord to rank and personalize who you see and to measure how often each profile is liked ("popularity").

- Crash logs and diagnostics (via Sentry), used only to find and fix bugs

- Device type and operating system version (included in crash reports)

We use Google Firebase (hosting, database, and file storage) and Sentry (crash reporting) to operate the App.

1.3 No Tracking or Advertising

One Accord does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, does not show ads, and does not share your data with data brokers or advertisers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

- Provide the core service: create your profile, show it to other users in discovery, and match you with others

- Enable messaging and other interactions between matched users

- Provide and improve the App's functionality

- Respond to user inquiries, reports, and support requests

- Monitor usage, performance, and safety (including reviewing reports and enforcing our rules)

- Rank and personalize your Discover feed using your activity, your answers, and how often profiles are liked

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Disclosure of Information

We may share your data in limited circumstances:

- Other Users: Your profile, photos, and the content you choose to share are visible to other users as part of the App's core matchmaking and messaging features.

- Service Providers: Google Firebase (hosting and storage) and Sentry (crash reporting), only to operate the App.

- Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.

- Business Transfers: In case of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not share your personal data for advertising without your explicit consent.

4. Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Delete account, which removes your profile, photos, likes, matches, messages, invite code, and popularity counts. A log of in-app activity (which profiles were shown and swiped) is tied only to a random identifier and may remain for a limited time; email us and we will delete it within 30 days.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA):

- Right to know what data we collect

- Right to request deletion

- Right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data)

European Union Residents (GDPR):

- Right to access, correct, or delete your data

- Right to object to processing

- Right to data portability

- Right to withdraw consent

Some information you may provide (such as faith or religious beliefs) may be considered a special category of personal data under GDPR. By adding this information to your profile, you consent to our processing it for the purpose of operating the App and matching you with other users. You may remove it at any time.

6. Security

We implement technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure. Use the App at your own risk.

7. Age Requirement and Children's Privacy

One Accord is intended only for adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it and terminate the account.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If changes are material, we will notify you through the App or via updated posting. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
